Health Professions Training Division

Faculty and staff members from the Department of Advanced Biomedical Education provide training for pre-clinical and clinical learners through the use of simulation techniques and instrumentation within the centers of Simulation. The centers activities and management are integrated in the Office of Interprofessional Simulation, Training, Assessment, Research and Safety (ISTARS).

The four academic units that support simulation-based education include:

• Basic and Advanced Resuscitation Training Center
• Judith Gore Gearhart Clinical Skills Center
• Simulation and Interprofessional Education Center
